All HOMASOTE products originate from a homogenous, all-wood fiber, structural insulation board that is moisture resistant, temite-, rot-, and fungi-protected. These qualities, in turn, lead to a consistently durable and weatherproof surface. It is made from 100%-recycled material. For every square foot of this board produced, one more pound of wood-fiber-bearing paper waste is recycled. Each year more than 150 million pounds of post-consumer paper waste is recycled into brand-new, beneficial building products that can be reclaimed again and again.

Super 440 has been time tested in all types of climates.  This durable product combines paintability, structural strength, sound deadening and resilient qualities with twice the insulating value of wood.  With 440 board, there are no splinters, knots, or voids.  This product contains no asbestos additives and no urea formaldehyde additives.  Ideal uses include diplays and tackboards, signs and cut out letters, modular panels, multi-use gym floor conversions, carpet underlayment, and industrial packaging.  HOMASOTE Super 440 panels come in the following sizes:

DesignWall is an elegant, pre-finished interior paneling, composed of Guilford of Maine FR 701 fabric, which is laminated onto a panel of 1/2" structural HOMASOTE recycled fibreboard.  Fabric continues around long edges to the back of the panel.  DesignWall is available in four colors: Quartz, Cherry Neutral, Blue Neutral, and Grey Mix.  Because these interior panels are both decorative and tackable, DesignWall panels can be used in a number of commercial and residential uses.  Whether in a school classroom, children's bedroom, or business office, DesignWall provides a tackable material with an attractive finish.

Like HOMASOTE Super 440, DesignWall is environmentally safe, with no formaldehyde or asbestos additives.

N.C.F.R. HOMASOTE is fire rated  structural building board and substrate, which offers insulation against moisture, air, and noise pollution.  N.C.F.R. is also immune to termites, rot, and fungi.

N.C.F.R. has similar applications as Super440 with the added feature of fire retardancy.  These panels are available in 4x8 sheets with a thickness of 15/32".

Central is able to special order an exterior treated HOMASOTE panel, Homex 300.  Homex 300 may be used as a light duty forming material in such applications as walkways, patios, pool aprons, and driveways.  The basic material in Homex 300 is 100% post-consumer wastepaper that has been treated with weather and termite resistant additives.  It is very lightweight, splinter free and easy to cut or shape.

Nova Cork is a decorative panel consisting of a cork veneer surface laminated to Super 440 HOMASOTE.  Nova Cork provides an ideal tackable panel for use in offices, schools, dormitories, and homes.   Available in 4x8 sheets, 1/2" thick.

HOMASOTE Ice Deck is a structural panel which is moisture-resistant and is ideal for placing directly over indoor ice for conversion of the rink to other activities.  It consists of 2, 3 or 4 plies of HOMASOTE Structural Building Board, permanently bonded together to form easy handling 4'x8' (nominal) panels.
